Celebrating Differences, Melting Divisions - 14th April Hyderabad
"Celebrating Differences, Melting Divisions" is a unique outreach initiative celebrating 50th anniversary of Asia Plateau, Initiatives of Change India. IofC volunteers have come together to give their time to serve taking this theme to various parts of India including Hyderabad for the first time.
Initiatives of Change IofC is a worldwide movement of people from diverse cultures and backgrounds, who are committed to the transformation of society through changes in human motives and behavior for creating a just, peaceful and sustainable world by responding to the call of conscience and making their own unique contribution through personal change.
IofC focus areas are:
Trust building: Peace and social cohesion through trust and reconciliation.
Ethical Leadership: Developing a leadership culture based on moral integrity, compassion and selfless service.
Sustainable living: Economic justice and environmental sustainability by transformation of motives and behaviour.
The workshop will share the ideas and programs of Initiatives of Change for creating a peaceful and sustainable world through individual change and contribution.
The program is tailored to engage participants in becoming informed, involved, ethical and productive citizens and leaders of
the world.
The Workshop will engage participants through a unique combination of facilitated spaces, experiential learning activities, songs, skits, multimedia and Sharing circles.
Through this workshop and its programs the IofC Outreach program aspires to inspire individuals to identify challenges in personal and professional lives, melt divisions, and forge healthier relationships and work towards building a caring and humane world
