Outdoor Leadership Training - Preliminary Selection
Great Hyderabad Adventure Club - GHAC is a registered Not for Profit Adventure Club that has been established in Hyderabad City to provide everyone opportunities to get outdoors, try new adventure activities, and generally have a fantastic outdoor time.
Its 5 years since inception and we have done more then 3000 adventure events with a total membership base of 100 Outdoor Leaders and 14000 members. We aim to become the largest and the best volunteer based adventure club that caters to adventure, Travel and outdoors.
This is a selection process to Spot and train leaders to become exceptional Outdoor Leaders.
You will get to Learn all the Leadership, Teamwork and outdoor skills required to organize and lead teams in the outdoors and wilderness.
For Whom: Open to individuals with a passion for adventure and who want to learn the Leadership, Teamwork, Outdoor Skills required to lead adventure and outbound expeditions.
If you looking for more effective ways to learn the dynamics of leadership and team-building. If you want to experience leadership beyond the textbooks, power-points and discover the type of leader you are or want to be. Look no further then experiencing outdoor leadership where Rapid decision making, Instant Feedback, and time to reflect is what makes the learning's second to none.
Planning, Leading, surviving and making decisions in wilderness conditions prepares one for day to day challenges of life. Learning in the outdoors helps one to internalize and personalize the experience and take the learning's back to their personal and professional fronts. This is the most effective medium to develop leaders.
Those who are saying 'Yes' to this selection should get a few things right. This is a selection to spot and train leaders. To qualify for this workshop you should have done a minimum of Five local treks and Five outstation trek with GHAC. This rule is relaxed for enthusiastic members who have any previous trekking or adventure experience with other clubs or are NCC Cadets with B or C certificate.
